Ronald V. Hudanich, DO, and team are very excited that Robert J. Meuret, MD, MPT, and Brian K. Vickaryous, MD, both outstanding Central Florida based board-certified Orthopedic Surgery Specialists, joined the Greater Orlando Orthopedic Group™ in October 2021.
Robert J. Meuret MD, MPT, started his orthopedic career as a physical therapist in rural Nebraska, he is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a fellowship in trauma, and has a lot of orthopedic training and experience in arthroplasty, joint revision, and deformity correction.
Dr. Meuret is a seasoned traumatologist and fracture surgeon, with extensive training in arthroplasty, joint revision, and deformity correction. He specializes in the treatment of both simple and complex revision arthroplasty, as well as wounds and injuries sustained by traumatic orthopedic injuries as a result of a slip and fall, sports accident, motorcycle or bicycling accident, defective products injury, pedestrian accident or collision.
Doctor Robert Meuret has more experience with fractures, hip and pelvic surgery, shoulder and upper arm surgery, as well as hand and wrist surgery, and knee and lower limb surgery than other specialists in his area.
Dr. Robert Meuret MD - a consultant for the Stryker Gamma Nail Design for treating Hip Fractures - has trained Trauma Physician Assistants and participated in surgical consultancy teaching classes for other orthopedic trauma surgeons throughout the years.
Dr. Robert Meuret is available to patients throughout Central Florida, and has privileges in most Central Florida hospitals covering ERs and Trauma Units from Orlando Health, AdventHealth to Health Central Hospital - Dr. Phillips, South Seminole, Oviedo, Osceola, Horizon West Winter Garden, Kissimmee, Celebration, Winter Park, HealthFirst, Altamonte, Sanford - and many more hospital locations.
