We Celebrate Our Heroes!
For so many people, fellow veterans and their military families, it is a time to celebrate our Nation’s greatest heroes, those who fought and sacrificed their lives for our country.
Jamie's Dad and Uncles - US Army, Vietnam and Marine Veteran
Our patients - like 92 year old Mr. Robert F. - as well as Dr. Brian Vickaryous, are a few of our honored heroes, and veterans we would like to pay special tribute to today!

92 Year old patient, Robert F., Korea Vietnam Veteran
Former Officer in the US Army, for which he served a total of 12 years, and Orthopedic Specialist, Dr. Brian K. Vickaryous, honors Veterans Day.
Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for your bravery and the example you set for us all. Thank you for your service.
Dr. Vickaryous spent a year overseas as a Commander of the Trauma Unit, the 8th Forward Surgical Team, a state-of-the-art 20 man Trauma, Resuscitative, and Intensive Care Team based at a front line surgical facility in Mosul, in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He operated on over 500 battlefield casualties during this time frame, which included the surge, where there was an increased operational tempo and contact with the insurgency.
His passion of being in the medical field combined with working in a patient centered team stems from his military experience overseas.
He was stationed at multiple locations with his wife of 26 years, and picked up a souvenier at each station, with 3 adult daughters born in Hawaii, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Dr. Brian Vickaryous and his family have been in Orlando since 2008, calling Lake Mary home.
"I am proud to help my community and country each and every day."
